Our RV

In 2007, we purchased a new Holiday Rambler Endeavor.  We traveled in this RV full time for three and a half years, and then spent another two years living in it before we sold it.

I’ve always enjoyed studying different brands of motorhomes and keeping up to date with the changes.  We live in Elkhart County, the RV capital of the USA, so I get a lot of local input from workers and friends in the industry.  We thought we would want to RV again, so from 2017-2019, we toured several companies and watched them build the motorhomes.  We took our time and talked over the year, model, floor plan, and options that we wanted.  We toured the Newmar company four times during this period.

In August of 2025, we purchased a 2018 Newmar Dutch Star 4369 on consignment. It has low mileage and looks new inside and out - we think the seller hired the world’s best detailer.  It was incredibly clean! We purchased it from North Trail RV in Fort Myers, Florida. We were very happy with the whole experience there. Our salesman, Kurt Ardalan, was top-notch!  We would work with him again in a heartbeat.

I recently talked with an Amish acquaintance from Nappanee, and he said he made every bath vanity for the Dutch Star in 2018. That means he made both of the vanities in our RV, which is pretty neat.

Back in 2007, we pulled a trailer with a motorcycle and a Mazda Miata in it. It was a really nice setup.  We priced a trailer for this newest motorhome, but decided to pull our 2016 Chevy Suburban flat down instead.  We may buy a trailer sometime in the future.

For now, we are very excited to start a new adventure in this RV and share our travels with you! Check out some pictures of our new RV below:
