We visited four different parks yesterday. One had lots of grass. That is unusual, as grass here is considered a luxury, as it must be watered. When my dad bought his new house here years ago, they asked if he was putting in grass or stones for his landscaping. He said stones, so they gave him money for not putting in a lawn and wasting their precious water. Years ago, I saw a golf course that was bare dirt instead of lawn.

We have an induction stove top. It will only cook on steel pans. I believe the test is to see if the pan will hold a magnet. If so, it should work. Annie still has a magnet on her collar from her dog door back home. Kim took the collar off and tested to see if it would stay on the pan. It worked! Good thinking Kim!

Yesterday, we visited four parks to see if we could find one we liked better than where we are staying (Mesa Spirit). We really like Val Vista Village RV Resort. It is only a few miles from us. They have some really nice pull-throughs, and everyone was so friendly - from the front office to the people we met while walking through the park. Above and below are the pull-throughs. I'm not sure if we can get a space there, though. It is a pretty popular area. I think we can get into the park, but maybe not a pull-through. We haven't decided yet if we want to move there, but we were both very impressed. We have visited 6 parks, and this one is our favorite.
