Yesterday we attended the large RV show in Quartzite, AZ. We drove the suburban. It was about two hours and ten minutes there. We were surprised by all the un-RV stuff there. Many of the booths were just selling things to make old people's aches and pains go away. There was an interesting diversity in people there. Some were in electric scooters, some looked affluent, and others looked like they just came from the backwoods.

The tent was pretty big, and the weather was just great! I had a list of things to get, and I found a few of the things. We were wondering if we could cover it in a day, and we did so in about 3 hours. A lot of the booths didn't have things we were interested in. Kim didn't eat all her pulled pork, so we gave it to this couple (below) waiting for their food, and she fed some of it to her dogs.

Here's a triple trampoline. Pretty good idea, but too big for the motorhome to carry around. This guy (below) had a shirt on about carrot cake. We asked if we could get his picture with the back of the shirt, and he told us all about this restaurant. He said the carrot cake slices are so big that he doesn't eat a meal; he just eats a whole piece! He said it's located about 3 hours north of Quartzite. I went online and got a picture of the carrot cake.

The ice cream was pretty good. We left Annie at home, and our Canadian neighbors babied her for us. Kim got pralines & cream, and it was pretty good!

There was a booth of all kinds of carvings. I asked Kim to pose beside this cute bear.

Kim and I are Bible Study Fellowship online leaders. About 43,000 people from around the world are participating in the study. It meets on Zoom throughout the school calendar year, and Kim and I each have about 16 members. Since we are trainers, we need to attend a leader's meeting in order to lead our group. My leader meeting is on Monday, and my group meeting is on Tuesday. Kim's leader group is on Tuesday, with her group being on Wednesday. All our groups meet early in the morning.
Monday, I'm meeting online with Rachel, who is helping create this blog, and then Tuesday, the MH is being washed and waxed here at our spot. Also, our hot water heater is an Oasis brand, and it's not working right, so I have a service man coming to look at it.
Wednesday, I'm having the Suburban diagnosed at a Chevy dealership. I think the alternator bearing is going out. I just replaced the alternator two years ago.
Also, this week, we would like to look at other parks in the area. We like it here at Mesa Spirit, but they could have better regulations to make everyone's stay more enjoyable. We have three in mind to look at. We may be moving!
